It was refreshing to deal with an Enforcement Officer who constantly kept in contact with ourselves, advised us what was happening and who was so persistent, in the face of substantial opposition in getting the job done.

Alan Smith

Alan joined Shergroup in July 2003 after working with the team in the Sheriffs Office to promote the Sheriffs Lodgment Centre and the National Sheriffs Campaign. Described as one of the best HCEO's in England and Wales, Alan has a natural flair for the punch line of “Show Me The Money”, excelling in the sale and removal of goods for auction.
Since the inception of Sherforce, Alan has assisted Claire and the team in the creation of SHERPA, the Sherforce case management system and works closely with colleagues, to make the information displayed in SHERPA as simple as possible for clients.
Over the last year he has managed the creation of a
field team, and Officer Support Unit. He has overseen the removal of goods as diverse as long boats, Formula 1 vehicles, and World War 2 Planes.
Alan is also responsible for the field management of High Court Writs of Possession through the associated Shergroup brand of “Sherbond”.
